We work directly with concession holders and sawmills in Cameroon, Gabon and the Republic of Congo. You get one point of contact for species selection, cutting, drying, grading, documents and shipping.

Legal, traceable and documented
Every log comes from a concession with valid harvesting permits and national minimum felling diameters. Each shipment carries the paperwork your customs broker and auditors need under EUDR, the UK Timber Regulation and the US Lacey Act.

Buying African timber: common questions
Short answers to the questions importers ask before their first container.
Read all FAQsWhat is the minimum order?
Most buyers order one 20 ft or 40 ft container. A 20 ft container holds about 18–25 m³ of sawn timber and a 40 ft about 40–50 m³. Mixed-species containers and smaller trial orders can be arranged.
How are prices quoted?
Prices are per cubic metre (m³). The price on each species page is an indicative starting price for standard sawn grade, FOB Central Africa. Your written quotation confirms grade, sizes, drying, volume and freight.
Which species need a CITES permit?
African Mahogany (Khaya), Padouk, Doussie (Afzelia), Afrormosia and Bubinga are listed in CITES Appendix II. We supply the export permit with every shipment of these species.
How long does delivery take?
Stock sizes are usually ready to load in 2–4 weeks and custom orders in 4–8 weeks. Sea transit is about 3–5 weeks to Europe and 5–7 weeks to the Americas.
